About

I am an artist and educator based in Malden, MA. My work explores themes of language, consumption, and nature through abstracted organic form. I earned B.A.s in Art History and Studio Art from University of Chicago, and completed my M.Ed. in Art Education at Lesley University. I also hold a Certificate in Copyediting from UC San Diego. I currently teach Adult ELL at SCALE in Somerville, MA. Previously I have been a teaching artist for the Eliot School of Fine and Applied Arts and ARCK Boston. In 2015 I founded Dorchester Art Project, an artist-run studio and gallery space in the Fields Corner neighborhood of Boston. I live in Malden with my wife Tina and daughter Zadie.
