 From 2020-25 I primarily created small analog collages, using hand-printed and found paper, and experimental techniques. I sought to explore connections between written language, forms found in nature, and mass-produced print media. Some pieces made use of abstracted text and symbols, while in others I created complex organic structures or altered found paper materials.  

Much of the found material was gathered on walks along a local urban bike path, where I observed printed items like candy wrappers and lottery tickets mingling with colonizing plants. Part of my interest was in bridging this natural-artificial gap - analog collage, with its ability to precisely integrate premade materials, was the ideal medium.
